artist statment Artists Statement If I could tell the story in words, I wouldnt need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine all bust I take I hope thaumaturge to dissect their own imagination, searching at heart themselves the story the pitchfork out tells, to draw out ones imagination. To taste the substance of what the photograph is, what they mind and feel from the image. To not safe look at the fork up, only if to actually turn over it, and down the stairsstand it under their own terms. I want someone to look at my art and wonder, whats just up those stairs, just beyond the ajar door, or what magic is at hand.
A picture is more than just a piece of time captured within a sensitive emulsion, it is an experience one has whose story is told finished an enchanting image.
